Factory Fifteen POW
POW is Factory Fifteen’s Pro Of the Week competition. The weekly challenge is to pimp, mash up, destroy, fantasy up, bling up and generally change a picture at 5pm for 30 minutes every Friday. Given that we make films here at factory fifteen competitors are urged to animate the image if they feel like it but is not mandatory.  Matt Townsend, a resident Factory worker has made this amazing cast iron trophy which will sit on the winners desk until the following week. Matt will also pick this weeks picture. Stay tuned. :)

Calling all friends, bloggers, followers, associates, teachers and students

The 2012 Vimeo award shortlist have been announced and we have 2 films in 2 different categories. The next stage is an online vote and we need your help.

If you have a Vimeo account you can just click vote, otherwise you will have to sign up to vote, which just takes an email address. You can vote for one film per category and our films are in separate categories so please show us some love and help us get to the next stage. Winning a Vimeo award gets worldwide exposure so your help would be greatly appreciated. The links below take you to the voting pages. If you have a blog / twitter / facebook then please spread the word.

Boat Graveyard_
Concept Image showing a series of dead boats that have been abandoned and have slowly drifted further out to sea. Recent drafts of the script leave the fish swimming out into the sunset witha  sea of dead boats behind him. This scene could potentially work as a final shot.

Dramatic Spaces: Inside the boats_
The boats themselves create interesting internal spaces for the fish to swim between, hide and interact with. This will add extra dram to the underwater sequences.
